WARNING! This is not a blog.

This is not really a blog (because I never really do anything completely conventionally), but I certainly do have a lot to say and share (for those of you who know me, stop chuckling or rolling your eyes). I’m SO fortunate to be able to connect with people, products, and ideas that I find incredibly inspiring every day, and I hope to use this virtual space to give you an inside look into what’s going on in my (crazy) world…which, I share with you.

Along with my small but mighty team, I’ll be posting in 4 different “departments”:

Interviews with Mosquitos
Good people doing good things need to stick together (and talk a lot). The African proverb I live and work by is, “If you think you’re too small to make a difference, try sleeping in a room with a mosquito.” We work and speak with so many amazingly energetic people, who are making a big difference (let’s call them “our” mosquitos), and we look forward to introducing them, their work and their philosophies to you, hoping to build an even stronger community and support for each other.

Better Living
We frequently write about how to make ethical, healthy, and eco choices because we believe lifestyle and business are not mutually exclusive. Everything good (and bad) should be shared. We’ll be sharing our many favourites (that are just too good to keep to ourselves), and many things that outrage us (we have found outrage to be a great catalyst for change). These posts are often updated; I change my mind as I evolve and as companies change. Sometimes companies get better. Sometimes they change their commitments. As a result, we try to keep our lifestyle advice updated as the industry evolves and grows, and as we find new favourite products and practices to tell you about.

Better Business
We help clients grow better businesses. When I work with clients directly I’m able to give them tailored prescriptions for their business. However, when a question gets asked often enough, I like to put my response online. Questions I get asked repeatedly include:

How do you keep your WordPress plugins updated? How do you write a great About Me page? You want to start a podcast, so where do you begin? Is there a way your business can decrease your eco-footprint? Most of the time, the answers to these questions are convoluted and decentralized.

We are not specialists. We are not web designers, or even tech support. Our business advice is simply what we have distilled down from research and experience. We try our best to create a clear and humble approach to good business tactics that you and your teams can understand. We want you to succeed, and we want to help ethical businesses like yours.

We have a lot to say. Our Bordenosophy includes our company values, beliefs, and way-of-business. Consider these posts to be a growing list of our guiding principles.

Welcome to my bubble,
