“As to methods there may be a million and then some, but principles are few. The man who grasps principles can successfully select his own methods. The man who tries methods, ignoring principles, is sure to have trouble.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
We have built a business around providing our clients with both the methods and the principles that they need to be successful. Our aim is always to create independence – otherwise, we’re not doing our jobs. We want our clients grasp the principles behind every method, so that they can make the best informed decisions for their business, and so that they can understand the methods we recommend.
That’s why, when we teach our clients new methods, we don’t forget to speak principles too. It’s generous (we try our best to be!), but it’s also good business. As it turns out, when people trust you to empower them and respect their business, they’ll want to keep working with you.
It’s a way of life.
A way of work.
