Every week we feature one good human from TWIC. This week’s member highlight is Barry Cik … he is the Founder and Technical Director of Naturepedic, a manufacturer of certified organic mattresses. His devotion to the organic industry is the natural result of his lifelong interest in preserving the environment based on what we can do today. With a background in environmental engineering and a beautiful love for his family, he established Naturepedic with his sons in 2003 and has been working toward a healthier world without harmful chemicals, environmental toxins, or destructive business practices since. When I went to buy a healthy crib mattress for my third child, Barry was so generous with his knowledge, and there remains a growing mutual respect for longevity in responsible and purpose-driven business practices … and a better night’s sleep for all.
