Years ago, my daughter Joey wrote a story about my youngest son, Andy, trying kale in its various forms until finally finding one he liked – it took a LOT of trying. It’s called the Tale of Kale. We’re in the business of meaningful marketing, so we decided it made perfect sense as a Borden Communications Special Project. The Tale of Kale is the kind of marketing our kids and kale need. Whether we like it or not, our kids are constantly being sold “food products” with colourful packaging and ads on TV. We need to show them how to get excited about whole, unprocessed, healthy, and delicious foods. Enjoy this ode to trying new things.

Our latest project … a book written in collaboration with Sharon Neiss Arbess. A collection of the short stories, emotional lessons, functional exercises, and mentor memos we need in order to thrive. We recommend Get Up for ages 11 and up, but we created it especially for all human beings who care to do better for themselves and others! Life may bring challenges, but the Get Up reader will quickly learn that they are not alone – that they can get through and that they will “get up.”
