The peripheral nervous system is a complex network of nerves that carry messages to and from your brain and spinal cord to all parts of your body … we like to refer to this as your Body Network.
Understand that you are in control of your Body Network … you are in charge of your state of mind and being.
You must develop a strong connection to Body Networking in order to transition from “rest and digest” (parasympathetic) to “fight or flight” (sympathetic) and back again. This understanding allows you to go between states of relaxation and reaction with fluidity.
Your day may demand that you move from meditating to an intense physical workout, or from a stressful meeting to relaxed family time. Your Body Networking System needs to be able to manage these changes so that you feel balanced and can function optimally.
