Green is the colour of life. It is associated with nature, energy, unity, growth, freshness, safety, fertility, and environment. Green is associated with money. Green is soothing, relaxing, and youthful. Green is a colour that helps alleviate anxiety, depression, and nervousness. Green offers us a sense of hope, health, adventure, and renewal, as well as self-control, compassion, and harmony. Focusing on green can help create balance, promote change or growth, increase feelings of happiness and optimism.

Eat something green.
Try sage, rosemary or thyme, a green pear, seaweed, kiwi, bok choy, rainbow chard … or your favourite green food. Try something new. How do green foods make you feel?
Did you know many green foods are rich in calcium? Do you eat a rainbow every day?
Connect to something in nature that is green.
A sprout, moss, herbs, a leaf, lush grass or a forest canopy … look around.
When you go outside, are you conscious of all that surrounds you? Let something green take you to a place of awe and wonder. What is nature gifting you today?
