The Fifth Chakra is named the Throat or Visuddha meaning “especially pure”. It is located in the region of the neck between the collarbones. The spiritual aspects of the Throat Chakra are creative expression, communication skills, and abstract thinking.

The Throat Chakra is the first of the more spiritual chakras and it encourages us to stand up for what we believe in and to be open and honest in speaking our truths.
Visuddha encourages you to take time to be still, to listen to your own voice and to express all that needs to be expressed … your truths. Throat Chakra energy is a guiding energy, enabling you to find a sense of faith and trust. It shifts our attention to the subtle vibrations that move through all of life with peace and tranquility.
The gift of the Throat Chakra is that you are at peace with expressing your truth and having a voice. In return you realize that listening to another being’s expressions is also a beautiful gift.
