Pink is the colour of universal and unconditional love. The sweet side of red, this delicate colour represents friendship, charm, romance, affection, harmony, inner peace, tenderness, and playfulness. We associate pink with feelings of serenity, relaxation, acceptance, and contentment … it also regulates mood, influences temperament, and offers you a sense of harmonious balance.
This is your opportunity to connect with the colour’s beauty, health, and diversity in our shared world …expand the foods you nourish yourself with and get out into nature … colour is an amazing guide!
The Pink Challenge:
Eat something pink.
Try radishes, guava, beets, rhubarb, peppercorns, grapefruit, Himalayan sea salt, or radicchio. What is your favourite pink food? Can you try something new? How do pink foods make you feel? Did you know pink foods are high in lycopene? Do you eat a rainbow every day?
Connect to something in nature that is pink.
The sky at sunrise and sunset, roses, oyster mushrooms, pigs, flamingos, or blossoms… look around. When you go outside, are you conscious of all that surrounds you? Does it take you to a place of awe and wonder? What is nature gifting you today?
