Every week we feature a good human from TWIC. This week’s member highlight is Pete Bombaci … Pete is a charismatic and visionary business leader who believes that by doing the right thing every day, exceptional results are created … and when you believe, it is so! In 2016, Pete launched his passion project, The GenWell Project, a “human connection movement” that was in the making for over a decade, and is now more relevant than ever. The mission of The GenWell Project is to make the world a happier and healthier place by educating people about the importance of face-to-face social connection and inspiring them to take action. Formerly the Canadian Country Director for Movember Canada, Pete led an amazing team of people over five years, putting a much needed lens back on men’s health. I am grateful to have met Pete through Susan Warburton, who featured me in her magazine and immediately connected us … ironically, even though we are walking distance from each other in Toronto, we have not (yet!) met in person. I hope you enjoy Pete’s interview and deepen your understanding about how we have such opportunity to bring humans together and repair the disconnected world that we find ourselves in today. Perhaps you’ll even be motivated to become part of The GenWell Project.
