Consider the many things you depend on.
Imagine that over the coming months you leave the doors unlocked to your home, give up your mobile device, stop eating your favourite foods, and disconnect from your friends. You would miss these things, right? You’d be off-balance, perhaps uncomfortable with the unfamiliar, and maybe not even feeling very well.
Then also consider and recognize how others depend on you.
They are affected by your mood, your smile, the tone of your voice, whether you follow through on a task, clean up a room, or help them problem solve.
When we pause and recognize what and who we have to depend on, it makes us feel good … useful, fortunate, connected, and strong. It fuels our hope and belief in possibility and potential. It also helps us become more compassionate and kinder.
We all really depend on each other.
And we really depend on all of you … so, thank you for being here.
In honour of “depending”, this month we are happy to share a handful of things that we as a team rely on to optimize ourselves and our days for success. We hope there may be a resource or bit of perspective that you can depend on to support you in creating the conditions to thrive in your work and in your life … on your own terms.
