This week’s member highlight is Slava Sapershteyn … Slava is a Registered Psychotherapist, Settler/Steward of a diverse and large Land in Ontario, Relational/Systems engineer, Co-founder of RR Land-based Project, an Activist, and a wonderfully warm, gritty in the best kind of way, and fascinating human. I had the good fortune to meet Slava due to a mutual, trusted, and cherished friend, Michael Schecter, and I am so excited for you to meet her now, too. Slava is a settler from Kyiv, Ukraine, who arrived to Canada at the age of 20, with her baby-daughter in my arms and $50 in her back pocket. Through our interview, you might find yourself smiling and tearing up, nodding your head, and maybe even silent-cheering. I did.
